Learning to slow down in Morocco
Ten days. One road trip. Blue mountain towns, ancient medinas, ochre cities and the Atlantic Ocean.

I travelled through Morocco in April, spending ten days on the road.
It was the contrasts that made the journey so memorable.
From the blue lanes of Chefchaouen to the sensory intensity of Fez, the cosmopolitan energy of Marrakech and finally the Atlantic coast, Morocco seemed to reinvent itself every few days.
But some of my strongest memories are of what happened between those places.
The changing landscape. Small towns glimpsed through the window. Roadside cafés. Mountains giving way to plains.
Morocco is a country I believe you need to travel through, rather than simply fly into.
